A city is created not simply by great works of architecture but also by the way the buildings fit together. This ensemble matters as much as the city’s individual structures. My work contemplates how these structures relate to each other. Their spatial relationships and resultant patterns create an urban fabric—tightly woven, rich in texture and contrast.
