Bain Attwood is professor in the School of Historical Studies at Monash University and adjunct professor in the Centre for Cross-Cultural Research at the Australian National University. His research focuses on the relationship between indigenous people, rights, history, and memory. His most recent books include Rights for Aborigines (2003) and Telling the Truth about Aboriginal History (2005).
