Jason Pine teaches in the Department of Media Studies and Film at the New School and the Department of Sociology at the University of Naples. He has a forthcoming article in the journal Law, Culture and the Humanities and is currently completing a monograph titled “Affective Community: Music, Melodrama, and Organized Crime in Naples.”
