Agnieszka Graff

Agnieszka Graff, PhD, is a graduate of Amherst College and Oxford University. She teaches literature and gender studies at the American Studies Center, University of Warsaw. She is the author of three books examining constructions of gender in the Polish public discourse: S ´ wiat bez kobiet (World without Women) (2001), Rykoszetem (Stray Bullets) (2008), and Magma (Quagmire, 2010). A feminist scholar and activist, she collaborates with the Helsinki Foundation for Human Rights and is a member of the team of the left-wing journal and cultural center Krytyka Polityczna (Political Critique).
