Bishnupriya Ghosh is a professor of English at the University of California, Santa Barbara, where she teaches postcolonial theory, literature, and global media studies. Her current projects include the forthcoming monograph Global Icons in Public Culture and a multidisciplinary collaborative Web project on risk, uncertainty, and speculation.
