Daniel Monterescu

Central European University, Budapest

Daniel Monterescu is an assistant professor of sociology and anthropology at Central European University, Budapest, and is Marie Curie Research Fellow at the European University Institute, Florence. His interests include masculinity studies, binational urbanism, and life stories in Israel/Palestine and the Middle East. He is the editor, with Dan Rabinowitz, of Mixed Towns, Trapped Communities (2007). He is also a founding member of the Jaffa Association for Human Rights.
