Éric Fassin is a sociologist at École normale supérieure in Paris. His work focuses on sexual and racial politics and their intersections in current immigration policies from a comparative perspective, in national as well as transnational terms. He is the author of Le sexe politique (2009) and L’inversion de la question homosexuelle (2008), coeditor of De la question sociale à la question raciale? (2009), and coauthor of Cette France-là (2009–10).
