Ghassan Hage teaches anthropology at the University of Sydney. He is the author of White Nation: Fantasies of White Supremacy in a Multicultural Society (2000) and Against Paranoid Nationalism: Searching for Hope in a Shrinking Society (forthcoming) and is the editor of Arab-Australians: Citizenship and Belonging (2002).
