Nouri Gana
Nouri Gana is an assistant professor of comparative literature and of Near Eastern languages and cultures at the University of California, Los Angeles. He is completing a book, tentatively titled “Arab Melancholia,” about the affective politics of Arab contemporaneity and is editing a collection of critical essays, tentatively titled “The Rise of the Arab Novel in English,” on the intellectual history and contemporary significance of the Arab novel in English.
